Amazing day at Santiago Christina, our tour guide, delivered a wonderful experience from the very first minute. She was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and easy-going. Though she humbly stated she was just doing her job, her passion for the history and culture of Galicia was clearly evident. Spectacular Santiago de Compostela! Buen Camino! We traveled on a European cruise from which we have taken tours in France (from Le Havre seaport: Deaville and Honfluer. From Vernon seaport: Bordeaux). Cristina was the most professional, friendly, courteous, knowledgeable caring guide we have ever had!! Phenomenal!!! The Santiago de Compostela tour was spectacular! Especially Good for Christian Folks Making the trip from the cruise port , so a lengthy bus trip is part of the deal. Bus was modern and comfortable and fortunately our bus wasn't filled to capacity. Impresionante belleza, historia, espiritualidad Nuestra guía Irene era tan conocedor y amable. Ella hizo el recorrido educativo y rico en historia. Las historias para ayudarnos a aprender sobre la calle. James y todas las reliquias del museo fue increíble. El Servicio al que asistimos fue en honor a los Peregrinos, así que después de que terminamos nuestra caminata por el Camino fue refrescante. Well worth the money Guide was excellent - great information and good timing, just the right pace. She made the tour. The tour makes accessing the museum, church and Portico easy. The only suggestion is that on the ticket it should say how to identify the group - ie specific place in the square or colour of umbrella which would have saved me querying all the groups until I found mine.
