In Portugal, lunch (almoço in Portuguese) is around 1:00 PM and dinner (jantar) is around 8:00 PM. It’s important not to delay dinner too much, as many restaurants begin closing around 9:00 PM.

WHERE TO PARK? Parking in Porto can be tricky due to traffic, limited parking, and high prices. If you arrive by car, keep in mind that the city center is mostly pedestrianized, making access difficult. To avoid problems, it’s best to park on the outskirts and use public transportation to get to the city center.
Some affordable parking options include:
– 631 R. de João Pedro Ribeiro: €6 for 24 hours, near the Marques metro station.
– Rúa Cedofeita 388: €6 for 24 hours, a short walk from the city center (open until 8:00 PM).
– Via Catarina: €20 for 24 hours, closed from 1:00 AM to 8:00 AM.
– Parque Batalha: €15 per day, next to Batalha Square.
